Sonic Magic excels at sound design, composing scores for film and TV, and final mix. The combination of Leon Ecroignard’s talents is key to the studio being able to provide award-winning content.

As composer, his work has been used widely by Kyknet, the SABC, both TV and Radio. Most recently he was responsible for final mix, sound design and composing for Getroud Met Rugby (seasons 4 to 6). He also worked on the Kyknet Storiefilms initiative with Opacity Media and Overberg Produksies. Soundscapes such as Mountains of the Midnight Sun: Documentary of the first SA team to travel to Antarctica, Freeze Frame: a seven-part series of one-hour documentaries of Sean Wisedale’s ascent of the seven highest summits of the world, and the Theme music for Pasella are other examples of his work.
